Inviting. Colorful. Harmonious. Ecological. Fun. Jeni Webber's gardens are all that and much more.
Landscape architect, garden designer and horticulturist Jeni Webber has been designing unique gardens in the greater Bay Area for more than 20 years. She is just as interested in the planting design as she is in the overall site plan and structural elements of the garden. She has adopted an ecological approach to design that honors the site, creates a hospitable environment for plants, and uses natural resources wisely while being responsive to client needs. Jeni strives to create healthy gardens that are neither time-consuming nor expensive to maintain.
Each garden Jeni designs has a different character. That's because she works closely with each client, responding to their personal needs, interests, styles and desires--whether they are Mediterranean, cottage or craftsman in style; used for entertaining, gardening or child's play; and whether presented with a clean palette or a long list of must-have plants. In addition to site evaluation and design, Jeni oversees the landscape contractor's work and consults on the ongoing maintenance of the gardens. She spends ample time on each job site to ensure that the process goes smoothly. And fewer things make her happier than to learn that a client has discovered the joy of gardening.
Jeni is nationally recognized for her work in residential design--whether modest urban gardens, generous suburban plots or expansive country estates. Large or small, she makes the most of available space--creating inviting front yards, intriguing side yards and comfortable backyards.
Jeni also handles institutional, civic and commercial projects. Her work on several institutional healing gardens has proven especially meaningful to her, and she is currently expanding her work in the area of habitat restoration.
